On tap at Albany Ale and Oyster in Albany, NY.
This one pours a very clear and pale straw yellow color, with a small head, and lots of lacing.
This smells like light minerally funk, lemon peel, clove, grassy bitterness, and wheat.
This is absolutely delightful, with a wonderfully crisp and clean taste to it. There’s just a wisp of acidity here, and a very pleasant herbal and minerally funk. There’s some wheat and almost tea-like earthy flavors, and a crisp wheaty and lemony bitterness on the back end.
This is very light bodied, and super crisp, with a fantastic drinkability.
This is about as good as it gets for this style. It’s a little stunner.
