Fasçade - 4.2% Pale Lager.
This beer starts with a beautiful malt bill of quality German Pilsner malt to showcase a big dose of our favorite French hop, the one and only Strisselspalt. The aroma opens up with those lovely doughy vanilla lager yeast and malt notes, and gives way to that herbal almost liquorice-like Strisselspalt character, finishing with an elegant dry bitter melon finish.

On draft at the F&M pub
Bright yellow in color, a little cloudy, with thick white head. Great head retention. Aroma is floral, grassy, herbal hops on top of crackery pale malt. Similar taste, crisp finish. Thinner bodied.

16oz can purchased as part of a mix-a-six pack for $12.99 from a local grocery store. I love that one of my local grocery store has been carrying Forest & Main beers. This was released on February 26, so it's almost 4 1/2 months old.
Look: Nice light to medium gold color. Looks like it's nicely carbonated too. There was a couple of fingers of whitish head that was pretty rocky and quickly dissipated. It did leave behind a nice rim of head. Nice clarity. The beer gained a faint haze after pouring the bottom of the can.
Smell: It smells very nice. It definitely has "lager vibes" with a crisp malt base and nice lemony and herbal tones. I get some sulfur and funk, along with some peppery and earthy notes. Perhaps some floral/jasmine type notes also. It smells really nice.
Taste: It's very tasty. This is very interesting because the flavor is not quite what I expected. It's very different, and also very pleasant and enjoyable. Up front, it basically tastes like a regular Pale Lager. But then the finish has an interesting dry fruitiness that is quite interesting. The finish is moderately bitter and dry. Very peppery on the finish. Nice lemony notes also, along with some apple and honey sweetness.
Feel: It is light bodied, very pleasant and easy to drink. Nicely carbonated. Very smooth.
Overall: I don't think that I've ever had Strisselspalt hops before. This beer is very tasty and it's nice to taste something different. I also love hoppy low ABV lagers like this. So crushable.

I had this on draft 4/9/25 @ the Hopleaf.
Mostly see-through pale yellow appearance.
Small off-white head; a thick curtain of tree-rung lacing remained.
Mineral water & lemon notes in the nose.
Medium mouthfeel.
Lemon & faint malt flavors up front; mineral water notes on the finish.
Interesting but not an every day drinker for me.
