Baseball Beer - 4.3% Lager
This beer is a near perfect accompaniment to America’s Pastime. It’s a solid crusher you don’t need to think about, but if you want to, it has tons of delicate depth to dive into.
We brewed this light lager with quality German Pilsner malt and lots of aromatic Basmati rice; hopped it with a solid charge of Grungeist; and fermented it slow and cold with our favourite lager yeast.
The beer opens with an herbal lemon hop character, followed by fluffy boiling rice aromas, and notes of gentle persimmons, wheat crackers, the floral section of the co-op, and thoroughly enjoying rice cakes as a grown adult.

16oz can purchased as part of a mix-a-six pack for $12.99 from a local grocery store. Amazing that the grocery store is now carrying Forest & Main beers! This was released on March 26, so it's exactly six weeks old.
Look: Quite pale yellow color with a faint but clearly evident haze. There was a nice finger and half of white head that dissipated to a very thin layer. Nice carbonation with fine bubbles rising up the glass.
Smell: It has a very bright, lemony, pleasant nose. I'm getting lemon zest, some pepper, a bit of grassiness, and a nice crackery malt. It's also very floral - notes of jasmine and green tea. It smells very inviting.
Taste: It's super crushable and very tasty. The beer has a solidly bitter, dry finish with a good amount of lemon pith and pepper. Up front, it's very light and bright and has a crisp, crackery malt flavor. Considering that this beer is only 4.3% ABV, it's very flavorful.
Feel: It's on the lighter side of body, yet again it holds its own for a 4.3% ABV lager. It doesn't taste like a light beer though. It's so crisp and clean, you could drink this all day. Nicely carbonated - not too much and not too little.
Overall: It's a super crusher. Forest & Main and a baseball beer, how could that not be a great combination?
