On-tap, served in a wine glass
This guy has a light orange hue when held up to the light. A two finger paper white cap fades slowly and leaves some nice sip marks/streaks inside the glass.
The nose is mainly of funk, brett, lacto, and pedio, giving off that band-aid, herbal, leathery, fruity, cheesy aroma. Some honey and bready malt mix with some floral notes to round out the nose.
On the palate, soft fruit and flowers lay low while the wild yeast really shine. Herbal, oaky, cheesey, funk, reminiscent of the nose, carry through the middle. The finish is a brief rush of bready malt and light fruit before a dry, oaky finish lingers on.
Light body, smooth, low on the carbonation.
This was a bit of a "wow" beer for me. Really impressed with the funkiness and the balance with the base beer. A really well made sour saison.

We love reviews (150 characters or more)! Check out: How to Review a Beer. You don't need to get fancy. Drop some thoughts on the beer's attributes (look, smell, taste, feel) plus your overall impression. Something that backs up your rating and helps others. Thanks!
