Created with the stickiest high-grade hops grown here in the Pacific Northwest. Enjoy a blast of heady dank herb, blue spruce, and orange skunk hop notes wrapped up tight with a resinous Sticky Hands body.

13.5oz pour at The Bine in Bothell.
Pours clear golden, 1cm head, dense and ceramy. Moderate carbonation. Smell is dank, piney, lemon. Earthy and floral. Taste is right in line with the aroma, emphasizing floral and honeysuckle, damping pine and earthiness. Mouthfeel is rich and smooth. It's good. It's a Sticky Hands variant.

Poured into a Seattle Beer Week pint glass. Pours a light to medium golden amber with two finger white head with great retention and solid lacing. Aroma of pale malt, citrus, dank and piney hops, orange, pine needles and herbal dankness. Flavor is lightly caramel malt, citrus and piney hops, orange, spruce gum, grapefruit, lemon and a touch of dankness in the finish. Lingering, solid bitterness with some resinous quality in the aftertaste. Medium bodied with light to moderate creaminess. This one delivers exactly what the description promises, particularly the spruce and orange. Not sure what orange skunk hops are, but it has lots of orange citrus character. The spruce is the most remarkable, this has the best spruce forest profile I've tasted except for ales with actual spruce used in the recipe, really refreshing. Love the malt and really into the hop bill; possibly my favorite Sticky Hands and that's a high bar.

Canned jan 30th. Hazy pour like the regular SH, finger or two of tight head, very prominent aroma of SPRUCE. All that is missing is the 2 cycle chain saw experience. Hop taste keeps the spruce and brings in the fruit and a hint of dankness. All that is consistent with the SH profile of highly hop forward but avoiding excessive bitterness. Not much in the malt department, but that's expected. SH is all hops. Very drinkable.

Can, 2023 version.
A clear light orange with a dense white head with excellent retention and lacing. The nose is insane. Pure, dank hops, bright, pine heavy, mild spruce and some citrus. Unlike recent Block 15 IPAs, there's minimal yeast character, instead, this is all about the hops. The palate opens dank, bitter and clean. Dank, mildly skunky hops, weed-like and with rich citrus. Candied orange peel. Mildly sweet malt, dank, bitter finish. Medium light in body, softly carbonated, bitter finish. Excellent.

Another well made Sticky Hands, no doubt. Still feel the tropical slam has been the best version I've tried, though this was pretty solid as well. Still, these sticky hand DIPA's all seem a bit sweeter, maltier and boozier then I generally like to see in a DIPA. Typically, this is a beer I'll get a single glass of, then move on to something else.
