Mahogany red body with a thin tan-brown head. Nice lacing. Aroma of sweet malts, caramel, and generic light fruits. Moderately sweet taste with a lot of caramel, hints of smoke, slightly fruity. Medium bodied, well carbonated, with a mildly chalking finish. Balanced sweet feel for the style. Drinkable. On tap at Church Key.

On tap at their brewpub.
This is mostly brown, but has multiple red highlights, and at the end of the glass the red becomes more pronounced. Thin tan head, but that could be just the serving.
Nice aroma, rich, fruity and malty, sweetish at times. The beer, however, is medium bodied, smooth, and easy to take down. It is mostly malts, but well balanced, and the fruitiness and sweetness are well balanced by some alcoholic spiciness and a somewhat dry finish.
This is a good one, and I will likely be having more.

Deep bloody red appearance. Thin light brown head adorns the surface. Lacing is good. Aroma is thick, rich, meaty, fruity, malty, chocolatey... Perfect for a wee heavy. Mouthfeel is smooth and creamy. Easy going. Medium bodied. Lightly carbonated. Flavor is solid. Fairly rich maltiness. Slight accents of chocolate and cherry. Hop presence is minimal. Slightly fruity. A bit of a dry, chalky finish. Very enjoyable Wee. Central Waters rarely disappoints.

Rich brown color....light tan head....awesome fresh sweet aroma...like melted caramel candy...
Sticky sweet taste....mild, subtle smokiness or actually more of a peatiness....also caramel...
Medium to full body..texture does not ever feel too sweet..
Overall....a very nice wee heavy..I wish they listed their ABV's on their literature but this feels about 7-8%...really love the aroma...taste is also very good...all scores border between 4 and 4.5 so hopefully the final tally comes out at 4.25 or in that neighborhood....that is where this should fall..
Another really nice brew from CW
