This one, served on-tap at Central Waters brewpub.
Nice looking pitch black, with a coffee-colored creamy head, has an average retention with a good amount of lacing.
Aroma is pleasant but somewhat light, mostly coffee, but some hints of choclate and other assorted roasted malts.
Reasonably thin on the mouth, it has a standard but not powerful taste, mostly coffee and bittersweet choclate, with a mild hoppiness breaking through here and there.
As a true irish dry stout, it is lighter and therefore more appropriate for summer, but lacks a bit in depth.
