A Brut Pilsner & a New England Style India Pale Ale are blended together with tangerines. The result is an effervescent beer reminiscent of a Mimosa. Cheers!

Poured from a can into a tulip.
Pours cloudy orange like a typical NEIPA with a fast rising but quickly subsiding head. It has a very persistent ring of lacing wit a slight skein of foam on top.
Aromas of peach, orange, tangerine, nectarine, honey/cracker malts and a whiff of grassy hops.
The flavor follows the nose, with a bit less sweetness than expected. More rind than flesh with the citrus flavors on the tip of the tongue, but light stone fruit flesh provides sweetness in mid-stream that quickly transitions to honey/graham cracker. The finish is grassy, herbal and dry with only a hint of booze.
The brew is medium-light, effervescent and as crisp as promised, yet still has a juicy aspect, like its namesake.
I'm not a huge Brut IPA fan, and NEIPA's can been overly sweet, but this is a pretty tasty mashup that delivers a flavor very evocative of its name. It may be just a shade bitter, rather than dry, but is still worth a try.

A: The beer is very hazy orange yellow in color. It poured with a finger high off white head that died down but has very good retention properties and consistently left a short head covering the surface.
S: Moderate aromas of tangerines are present in the nose.
T: The taste follows the smell and has flavors of tangerines along with underlying notes of green grapes.
M: It feels nearly medium-bodied and juicy on the palate with a moderate to high amount of carbonation. There is a bit of dryness in the finish.
O: This beer is very bubbly and tastes a little like a mimosa with the citrusy flavors and the bubbly nature.

Tasted in a pint glass from draft at Emil's Tavern on August 1, 2019. I've never heard of a brut pilsner but this blend of styles is drinkable. The tangerine stands out for sure.

12 oz can, canned on 7/2/19
Peach slush body with a distinct haze and a creamy head of 1/2 finger, diminishing to a sliver.
Aroma of yummy sweaty fermenting stone fruit and fresh tangerines, slight yeast funk, slight sulfur, and slight honey.
Flavor is plain... bitter tangerine rinds, with some dank funk, a little rubber and/or sulfur, and lingering bread and grassy bitterness.
Feel is resinous, acidic, and creamy, nice biting carbonation and acid. Some slight warming alcohol that continues into the finish.
Overall, too plain tasting and not enough sweetness or depth. It's sparkling but juicy, but relatively flavorless too. Shrug. Wouldn't re-visit.
