The last of the BA Barleywines I haven’t reviewed, I think. Pecans & stuff. Only bought one because, well, it sounds weird. Here we go, weird.
Looks just like the base. Look it up. Smells like a bourbon barrel barleywine that one spilled into mom’s Christmas Pie. So much spices.
Pecan Pie Barleywine is a corruption of the base beer. Bourbon is faint to the point of disappearing like a bassist in an interview session & the dominant feeling, as in the nose, is a mélange of spices with a side of walnuts.
Not very impressive & glad I only bought one can. Mediocre. Beer.
