Decided to finally pick this can up for a review.
12 oz format, dated 3/11/20 (oops, my fault for not date checking), into a Smokestack snifter.
This beer looks really f'n good. It's a rich juicy cloudy medium gold body that would hang with any New England IPA. Thoroughly impressed. Add the creamy cap on top and we're off to a great start.
The aroma brings bright juicy orange citrus, with hints of diesel, some parsley, and a little cardboard. I also get a hint of mint jam/toothpaste, and a little bit of mango.
Flavor brings mango and orange peel right off the bat, followed by blueberry and some noticeable hop spoilage/cardboard (not the beer's fault), some basil, very slight diesel, and mint. It's really not half bad.
Feel is juicy and creamy, with a nice acidic burn. Leaves a little resin on the palate at the finish but not too much.
Overall, I'm pretty impressed with this one. Probably my favorite Central Waters' stab at New England yet. It's not legit but it's a fair placeholder until you procure the good stuff.
Price paid : $2.49 / can
Would buy again : If it shows up fresh
