DDH IPA with New Zealand Nectaron & Sultana Hops POW! Right between the eyes! We lucked out with a little surprise of New Zealand Nectaron hops, don't get used to this rare treat of a beer. Tropical fruit is a common descriptor for a lot of hops, but this brings something else to the table we can't describe without using every combination of fruit descriptor possible. Nectaron was originally just named "WOW" because of it's unique flavor characteristics. Juicy and drippy, this tasty IPA is the beer equivalent of one of those Jumex nectar drinks. Soft tropical juice, with notes of pineapple that finishes with a slight sweetness.

Gorgeous hazy poured from a can. A lush fruity up front with a quieter hoppy zing at the end. Delicious and novel; the fruit profile is unique.

Gorgeous pastel yellow body, opaque; thick, lasting white head, densely spongy. Sublime and subtle tropical fruit scent; pineapple, banana, peach. Balanced juicy and fruity flavors; mild banana and grapefruit flavors; light to medium presence of hop bitterness; very low-key phenol presence. Heavy body; velvety and smooth; juicy.
What I really like about this 'aged' hazy (ok, "juicy") India pale ale is the light presence of hop bitterness. Too many times these type of beers get really harsh and abrasive with the hop bitterness. Not so here. I have no idea if the intensity of the flavor and hop presence would be dialed up with a fresh version, but this nearly four month old beer is a joy to drink.
