A triple ipa in Wisconsin? What could possibli go wrong. Possibly go wrong.
Similar to the prior hazy beer, (Just a Phase) this one has a hazy appearance. It is also kind of bright in color, straddling that orange juice meets vodka = screwdriver appearance. Only goes up from here. The aroma drops a vague Citra like hop, but that is probably the Galaxy and Eukanot combination amounting to the aforementioned result. A little bit of pineapple and orange on that thang.
The taste is ok, keeps hitting some of the tropical and citrus hop, there is a good amount of booze in the mouthfeel, just doesn't have a thick enough haze body of oats and wheat to really soak up lie the elite boys do out west. It did have enough bitterness to keep it trubby (partially due to that lack of a diversified malt portfolio) but it had that sting of a beer that was strong. Some breweries have gotten so good at covering up double digit booziness its almost not fair. But this one did good enough in that regard.

We love reviews (150 characters or more)! Check out: How to Review a Beer. You don't need to get fancy. Drop some thoughts on the beer's attributes (look, smell, taste, feel) plus your overall impression. Something that backs up your rating and helps others. Thanks!
