Central Waters. Stout. Elijah Craig barrels. 22 oz. bottle. Headed to Madison anyways. May as well stop in. Because I love CW. Who doesn’t. I wouldn’t trust them.
Inky black. And not red ink. Smells like booze & barrel. Full stop.
Central Waters Twenty Five – Elijah Craig barrels indicates Central Waters has another gear to accelerate into. Holy wash. Thicker than a typical CW stout, it exhales Elijah Craig in towering spurts of happiness. Boozy, distinct bourbon barrel does the hokey pokey with dark, sweet malts in a beautiful duo. I shared this with my wife. Regretting that now. The next bomber might be mine. My precious.
This is a master class in malt + yeast + barrel. One of the best stouts CW has brewed. Downright fantastic.
