Shnuckiputzi is our sweetie pie beer brewed in collaboration with our friends at Working Draft Beer Company in Madison, Wisconsin. Starting with well taken notes & tips from Working Draft's 2022 GABF Gold Winning Doppelbock base, we blended in cherries and aged this beer for a delicate amount of time in used cherry brandy barrels, and then concentrated that flavor by freezing it during a cold snap thanks to the Wisconsin Winter. This beer has a beautiful ruby colored hue, balanced cherry & other dark fruit notes, smooth and comforting alcohol warmth, with woody brandy finishing notes.

Had on tap at the Milwaukee taproom. This is advertised as a dessert beer and it certainly is. It's sweet, cloying, heavy, and sticky. Some decent dark cherry flavor but drinking more than a few ounces would be a struggle. Not well-balanced IMO. Pass.

is it just me or does all the good eisbock come from the midwest for some reason, seems that way anyhow. this is wildly delicious, a collaboration with working draft who i do not know much about, a doppelbock base done with cherries and aged in cherry brandy barrels and also frozen to intensify, way cool! the color is pink stained from the cherries, almost red, clear for what it is, still malty looking but light for a doppelbock i reckon, as much fruit as grain color, and a decent off white head on it. the nose is awesome, tart cherry, cooked cherry, cherry cordial, real neat, port wine, amaretto, german grain, dank bread, lager yeast in there somewhere too, light oak, brown sugar, and some wet cardboard oxidation which is not at all out of place in here. wintery, even christmas vibes in the taste, festive anyway with the sneaky alcohol and the cherry elements with the dried fruitiness of the malts, fig and raisin, toast and jam, red wine and sherry, still some minerals underneath, molasses, mature. there is some sweetness through the whole thing, a lingering woodiness on the palate after the swallow, and some booze. perhaps just a little less carbonated than it could be, but it slows it down pleasantly. i admire the effort here, all of the central waters beers seem so thoughtful and intentional and smart, and this really rings clever even genius to me. love the cherries and the cherry brandy barrels, so cool. this rules, their place in milwaukee rules, cant get enough from these guy right now!
