Pours a complex black hue with a tinge of red and a full one and half finger head. Aroma is bourbon, maple and chocolate. The bourbon is the dominant profile. Taste is full of maple, bourbon, dark fruit, caramel and chocolate brownies. This is a delightful brew, delicious and hard to put down.

With the flavor of maple being all the rage in stout making, Central Waters seek out maple syrup barrels as a oaken container to slumber their imperial stout for added decadence and savoriness.

B & E's Trees carries it's onyx-like depth of darkness into a scent of coffee, butter pecan, maple and vanilla across a dainty creme of froth. As its sweetness extends onto the early palate, the savory sweetness of maple brings a toffee, caramel and buttery sweetness with dark chocolate for extra measure.

As its lavishly sweet and savory malts wrap around the middle palate, the more coffee-like influence of roasted grain rises to meet the sweetness and brings a sultry smoky balance with notions of pecan, almond and walnut with an essence of campfire. As the session extends onto the late taste, a more coffee-like bitterness adds balance and a much needed robust dryness in finish.

Full bodied, rounded and richly textured, the stout finishes malty-sweet with essence of coffee and cream keeping the session dessert-like but balanced into a long buttercream finish.
