So I took this one on after the Mosaic pale ale. Somewhat of a return to the mean if you will. Pours a much lighter color, this was straight up a brighter yellow, but more pale than canary yellow (I already said if you will) that comes at you looking like a mixed drink screwdriver. Had about the same clarity of orange juice as well. Thin 1/5" white head. The aroma was a significant improvement, pushed ample Nectaron and Citra, stone fruit and citrus delivered.
The taste pushed the same, you're getting both hops, and there is pretty much the bare minimum of two row barley going into this one. The Simcoe hits a good firm bitterness in the mouthfeel. Orange, grapefruit alternating all day. The Simcoe has that light tree angle, but its not the usual pine, takes on a light eucalyptus vibe on the back end.
