Drank from a 32oz crowler can. This one tasted better after it warmed a little.
It has a clear light colored body, no haze. nice white head.
Smells very good, the aroma is not weak, hops mainly citrus, maybe berry.
Taste is mainly grapefruit, with a little pine & berry. A hint of floral at times. It's bitter but not super bitter. Crisp and clean. Slightly dry on the finish. For a 8% ABV IPA it is smooth and easy drinking. The alcohol is well hidden. Lighter body in the mouth feel.
I like it. I will give it a 4.19/5 overall
Brewery notes:
West Coast Style Double IPA. Inspired by modern San Diego-style IPAs, Probably Maybe Vol. 1 is ultra-light in color, lean in body, and crisp on the palate. Clocking in at just 2.8 degrees Plato for a dry finish that's perfect for sunny day sipping.
Built on a base of pure crushability, this beer is packed with hop oil from fermentation through finish. Chinook kettle additions bring that rugged pine character as a base to build upon. A heavy dry hopping with Strata and Mosaic Cryo layers in sticky dankness and saturated fruit: think ripe berries, resin, pine, and a whisper of candied cannabis flowers
