Look: Pours lemon yellow very hazy with a white head very active... Lots of bubbles but they're well hidden in the haze
Smell: of orange peel... White grapefruit... Sweet lemon... Something green... Possibly pineapple... From the 16 oz can... The aroma becomes more intense after the first pour to the mug... Clearly orange citrus .
Taste: yes juicy, yes pineapple, and a late and quite subtle West Coast Pine and bitterness noted. More pineapple and pine... Not as orange as the nose expressed. More of a fresh orange peel as a second note before the bitter pine sets in...
Mouthfeel: It doesn't start sweet but there is sweetness here... It is balanced with some the traditional West Coast hop taste... Just a hint here we're not talking peak bitterness... We're talking balanced and layered.. This one plays with the pallet over the session... Rocking from sweet to citrus to bitter to lightly sour to pine and back again...
Overall: is very good and technically sound... A little more "Traditional American" with the bitter close and the citrus... It has some modern hop magic. The can lists:!double dry hopped with El Dorado Strata and Citra
(Tropical Juicy Pillowy)... I first had this in the tap room and I brought a 16 oz home this one the Wisconsin IPA fest best IPA of 2025
