(500 ml bottle, black crown cap, no date/code; purchased extra-cold single at the brewery last week... poured into my Trillium fat tulip)

L: clear, tawny-to-rose colored liquid; tall rise of tight, pinkish foam... thick collar maintains, thin powdery cap as well... actually a few silky streaks of lace, while the cap/collar retention is remarkable... second (and final) pour, even more foam and now some powdery haze

S: blueberry essence, but coming across more raspberry due to the brett; the lavender is a subtle highlight, detected with a strong inhale at first, but gradually coming to the fore as the foam recedes... bit of a lambic-like, pseudo-citrus peel overtone... after 2 min, more floral with a lavender tone... nicely balanced intensities of the additive flavorings

T: brett bite up front, kissed with floral spice, with a dry, delicately malted foundation awash in a berry oils midway, finishing moderate nutty grain note... the blueberry nearly non-distinct, mostly skin, with the lavender just barely apparent in the background... the restrained burst of flavor up front does its fireworks then dries out relatively quick... the measure of lavender is smart, but being herbcentric, I want more

F: light-bodied, but broad in its airy expanse; slick and quick across the bottom, moderately tannic(?), tingly on the palate roof; dry and mildly bitey in the aft, with a slight semblance of residual oil extracts (legs) slowly, silently following the fluid... this gives the impression of the outdoors and spring in my mouth, hmm

O: lovely, well-executed beer, from presentation through to flavors... had I'd known I might have bought another bottle, but I can easily go back and get (and this time share) another... excited to see what else in this realm they might release (2128)
