Notes of toffee, dates, banana, and soft caramel. Sweet malt body yet dry and extremely smooth.

Poured from an undated 16 ounce can filled in my presence at the brewery into a snifter at 53.6 degrees F.
Appearance- Deep amber, translucent, light brown creamy head, average head retention, slightly below average lacing.
Aroma- Toffee, dates, nutty, butterscotch, ripe banana, between weak and medium strength of scent.
Flavor- Butterscotch, toffee, dates, nutty, slight overripe banana at finish, between medium and high strength of flavor.
Mouthfeel- Between medium and full body, average carbonation, moderately creamy, mildly sweet, highly buttery, moderately bitter, moderately mouth warming, mildly dry finish, mildly mouth coating.
Overall- Deep amber and translucent with average head retention and slightly below average lacing. The bouquet was a mix of toffee, dates, nutty notes, butterscotch and ripe banana, but had an intensity on the weaker end of the spectrum. The flavor was a mix of butterscotch, toffee, dates, nuttiness, and slightly overripe banana at the finish with a medium-high strength of flavor. The mouthfeel consisted of medium-full body with moderate creaminess, bitterness and mouth warming properties. It had a highly buttery character with a slightly dry finish that left me needed my next sip. Overall, this was a complex and interesting beer that provided a very enjoyable drinking experience. The only deficiency in this beer was aromatic intensity, but the other categories excelled.
