Golden yellow, 1” , fade to thick ring, good lacing; a little dark form a “light” beer. Nose is classic straw and light lemon, mild grain and sweet malt. Taste is pretty inexpressive, at least at first; slightly sour grain, malt, lemongrass - would like a bit more brightness, but good; oddly warming alcohol on finish. Feel is a little heavy - reminds me of a Dortmunder - with crisp, almost champagne carbonation. Not exactly what I think of as a Helles.

12 ounce can - Woodstock Beer Market in Woodstock, Georgia.
Appearance: Pale yellow body, lightly hazed with an inch-high, white head. Modest lacing.
Smell: Grainy pils malt with a scent of wet hay and wax lips.
Taste: Grainy, hay husk-like, leaning a bit sweet and again with that curious wax lips hint, one of the saddest things to see being tossed into your pumpkin bucket on Halloween. Fairly low floral-spicy hop character and bitterness, though it still closes out a bit sweet.
Mouthfeel: Medium-bodied. Medium carbonation.
Overall: It's alright.

L: The beer pours a straw to pale gold color with good clarity. The pour gives two fingers of fine, white head with ok retention. After a couple of minutes the head has fallen to a 2 mm ring around the glass with a less substantial sheet of head occupying the interior of the glass. As the beer goes down it leaves a light spotty lacing on the glass.
S: Grainy malty-sweet character, notes of fresh cut alfalfa, and a touch of noble spice.
T: Following the nose I get grainy malt character, a good bit of malty sweetness, light notes of grassy hops, and light notes of noble spice. There is a good bit of sweetness upfront, but a bit of hop bitterness and spice balance out the malt bill leaving no residual sweetness on the palate imparting a pleasant restrained bitterness.
F: Medium-light body with medium carbonation. The mouthfeel is smooth and a bit viscous with a nice dry finish
O: This is an excellent rendition of the Munich Helles style checking all the boxes. A nice malt profile with just enough hops coming in to cut the sweetness. This is my first beer from Schenker and looking forward to trying more from them. Highly recommended!

Poured from a 12oz can stamped 054/21/23 to a Pilz glass at fridge temp.
The body is clear gold with plenty of rising bubbles visible. A mild pour resulted in an amazing pure white tall puffy head.
The aroma is sweet and grassy, a very pleasant smell.
The taste is clean, not overly sweet. Hops make themselves known on the swallow.
The mouthfeel is light but slightly oily.
This is one of the best Helles I have had in a long time.
