I reviewed this beer on a napkin during a visit on 1-21-2010.
A: Copper in color and crystal-clear. A thin film holds over the brew.
S: Aroma is almost entirely muted. Some breawd makes it through, but overall there is a void in this department.
T: Off-dry and quite bready. Hops balance out the biscuit base. This is really quite enjoyable.
M: Medium body with moderate carbonation.
D: A good example of the style. Bready and refreshing, with a touch of hops. A session brew if I've ever seen one.

Rohrbach ESB is a pretty clear golden ale with a white head that dissipates. It has a grassy, herbal, medicinal aroma that's a little grainy. It's medium bodied and very smooth with a clean, crisp finish. It has a nice, grassy, herbal flavor that has good bitterness. It's quenching

A well crafted ESB with the perfect balance of malt backbone and hoppy finish. Cheers!
