With an Imperial English-style ESB (Extra Special Bitter) as the base beer, the Old Fashioned was aged for 3 months in Rye Whisky barrels, then conditioned on maraschino cherries prior to packaging. The end result is a malty backbone with notes of caramel and toasty biscuits, charred vanilla aroma with a hint of spice from the oak barrels, and a pop of sweet cherry flavor on the finish.

This one pours a dark-ish brown color, with a small head, and a little bit of lacing.
This one smells very bready, with some light spice, oakiness, and vanilla.
This apparently has cherries added to it, which isn’t incredibly apparent here. It just kinda feels like a dryer take on a barleywine. It’s pretty oaky, with some light bourbon, and a decent breadiness. There’s an almost cedar or nutmeg like spice here.
This is medium bodied, slightly boozy, but pretty drinkable.
I wanted this to be better than it was. It was decent enough, but not particularly special.
