When I saw a Rye IPA on the Liquidity tap list, I knew what I wanted first. A bit darker than most with a deep brown hue. The rye still worked its magic in the aroma and flavor. The nose was spicy, grainy and toasty while the taste had a strong hop profile that was earthy and bitter but not harsh. Medium bodied mouthfeel with an average amount of carbonation. Dry, slightly sweet finish. Overall, good depth and complexity.
