Need a no-nonsense easy-drinking stout? You are looking for this beer. No fancy flavors, no lactose, just good dark beer. A sweet chocolate coffee nose invites you to sip this black concoction. A pleasant roasted coffee with a dark chocolate finish is obvious at first sip. As you explore you will find mild caramel and a hint of floral hops.

On draught at the brewery, a cola-dark pour with a substantial light tan head that settles into a foam ring and leaves some light random lacing.
The nose and palette is dominated my dark roasted, caramelized barley malt. Black Strap Molasses, notes of toffee, dark roasted coffee, hints of vanilla. 46 IBU bitterness is well balanced.
The finish is semi sweet, and a little tangy that fades slightly dry.
A very enjoyable stout!
