On draught at the brewery, a dark amber color with moderate clarity, an off-white head with decent retention that settles into a ring of foam that yields some lacing.
Nicely caramelized malt, pleasant sweet biscuit flavor. Yeasty notes and hops bitterness are subtle. The 35 IBUs hops bitterness yields a sweeter finish considering the substantial malt used to get to the 7% ABV level.
And there is a subtle caramel sweetness that lingers after the finish.
