This is the perfect beer for when you are feeling Evel(Knievel). This is a stout aged for nearly a year in Sagamore Rye barrels. Dark cherry and chocolate are primary on the nose with a touch of bourbon at the end. At first taste, you will find the bourbon greets you, but quickly moves to the dark cherry, chocolate, and oak.

On draught at the brewery.
A dark pour with a khaki head and some decent lacing.
Dark roasted caramelized malt infused with Rye bourbon flavor, vanilla and molasses linger in the background. Faint coffee and chocolate flavors as well.
It has a lighter mouthfeel than anticipated, and the flavor is a little boozier than expected for 10% ABV.
A decent barrel aged Stout, the more I sip it, the more I like it, even for it’s apparent shortcomings. Probably because it has warmed up a bit.
