Creamy and lasting, light tan head. Quite dark brown, with a hint of chestnut at bottom of glass, for the look. Very subtle, deeply roasted caramel malt, for the aroma. Smooth and mellow, nearly burnt grains and a touch of floral spice, for the taste. Finish is a smooth burnt grain one that trails off subtly.

20oz draft pour at the brewpub in downtown SLC on Halloween evening. This is a proper oatmeal stout, a surprise no doubt. Great flavor, rich body and feel, solid malt profile. A bit too roasty and heavy in the finish but tasty nonetheless.
