330ml bottle at Piwna Stopa. 2023 vintage, 13%. Selected based on asking the servers: "If the next beer was going to be my last beer in Poland, and you wanted it to draw me back, what would you recommend?"
Dark and gorgeous, big short-lived flash of head. Still and headless shortly after. Smell is booze, honey, stewed berries/plums, maybe toffee and anise. Taste is honey, cherry syrup without cloying sweetness, mild chocolate, boozy, syrupy. Mouthfeel is moderately thin, sticky, slight chalk. Needs a little carbonation. Overall, interesting and good.
