Not much body, especially for a stout. Coffee flavor is not strong.

Aroma is coffee/black coffee, dark malts and a hint mocha/chocolate. The flavor is black coffee, chocolate/dark chocolate, dark malts and a mildly sweet agave/very slight acidic finish.

Tap pour at the taproom. Served chilled in a goblet.
Black colored body. Thin tan head. Most spots of lacing slide back down into the body.
Aroma of dark roast coffee and roasted malts.
Taste has some bitterness and a bit of sourness. Flavors of roasted malts. But the dark roast coffee is more prominent. Slow tail off of the roastiness in the aftertaste.
Medium mouthfeel. Creamy texture, with a dryness coming at the end. Good carbonation.
Good incorporation of the coffee with the malts.

On tap at the brewery, served in a small can glass. Espresso color, with a tan head that left some spotty lacing. This drinks well above its ABV class. They nailed the coffee aspect of this, with dark roast coffee prominent on the nose and palate alongside roasted malt, char, and a slightly sour note. Medium bodied, with a bitter and astringent finish. Overall, a very good beer and a bold and satisfying sipper.
