More of a brown looking pour than black. Roasted hops aroma. There's not a lot of hops in this beer. They do hit on the back. Not a lot of bitterness in this. Slightly sweet. Decent body. Interesting

This beer is still pitch black in color with a tan head. The aroma has some biscuit notes. The flavor has a nice licorice flavor with a good malt bill. The finish is a nice hop bitterness. Body is smooth, and bitterness lingers. They have dialed this beer in now, and I do recommend it.
