From a 750ml crawler purchased at the brewery. Canned on 05/24/24
This beer in the glass looks pitch black, and no light shines through the beer at all. The head is a 1 finger tan color. Decent head retention and there's a bit of lacing on the glass.
The aroma is not too strong, but does have a pleasing roasted malt hint as well as notes of nuts and chocolate.
Ok, the flavor really way stronger than the nose. I get a huge hit of dark roasted chocolate. I also get a good nut hit here.
The body is smooth and dry feeling. It has a good body for a 5% beer.
This is damn delicious overall, and well worth the trip to get it.
