Had on tap. Opaque brown pour with a khaki head and tons of lacing. Aromas of caramel, toast, cocoa, leather, rye, earth, and brown yeast with a kiss of earthy hops. Taste is much the same, but with a hint of roast. Feel is chewy and highly drinkable with earthy and rustic character, medium bodied. Simple but so well done, bravo

Poured from a crowler 7/26/25 @ the Beer Temple.
Dark brown appearance.
Small off-white head; strong lacing remained.
Acorn, mild peanut butter & dry pine notes in the nose.
Medium mouthfeel.
Acorn & mild peanut butter flavors up front; dry pine notes on the finish.
Bold flavors; a bit dry for me but this is one I'd try again.
