On top at the brewery.
Deep, dark brown, with some amber to garnet hueson the edge. Sandy to mocha colored foam puffs up a finger so in height, and then tapers off to a thin ring. Light lacing.
Nose is light, but slightly roasted chocolate notes with the most subtle hint of peanut.
Flavor is straight up sweeter stout with a nice, round peanut hug. Quite nice.
Mouth feel has the right heft but there’s a prickly carbonation.
Overall, really good minus the prickly carb. I have faith. I’ll come back and try it again.
