Small sample from shared 473 ml cans at Mandag i Annen, Cardinal, Stavanger. Reddish amber colour, darker than most tripels, off-white head. Distinct spicy aroma and flavour of Belgian ale yeast, hints of burnt breadcrumbs.

Had on tap. Clear copper colored body with a full off-white head. Aromas of peach, floral belgian yeast, lemon, and biscuit. Taste is really fruity upfront: peach, lemon, mango, orange, and white grape hints, with a bright rising floral yeast on the back end. It certainly is new world, especially in the feel where the yeast is a backseat to the bright malt work, very smooth but lacking true tripel artful airiness and silky yeast texture. Still a good option for the porch in early summer
