Can poured into a Mountain Rambler Brewery pint glass
A: Pours golden straw yellow with a frothy off white head that settles to a light layer and laces nicely.
S: Slightly dank grassy herbal notes, blueberry, tropical and stone fruit, citrus, resinous pine, faint floral notes, slightly bready biscuity malt, and a little caramel sweetness.
T: Lively citrus, grapefruit, lemon, and tangerine, slightly dank grassy herbal notes, resinous pine, unmistakable hit of blueberries, tropical and stone fruit, mango, apricot, peach, and guava, floral hints, faint bubble gum, biscuity slightly bready malt, and a little caramel sweetness.
M: A touch on the lighter side of medium body, moderate carbonation.
O: Tastes like you just squeezed a Mosaic cone straight into your mouth. The herbal notes slowly catch up to the initial citrus as it warms, but there's so much else going on behind that first punch. There's a little more sweetness than I'd expect from a Cold IPA, which keeps it from being super crisp, but I don't mind; I think it helps carry the fruity notes across. Overall it's an excellent Mosaic IPA.
