Scary amounts of Nelson Cryo, Nelson, and Strata hops create frightening hop flavors and aromas of gooseberries, southern hemi diesel, and blue skittles.

Can poured into a Mountain Rambler Brewery pint glass
A: Pours golden amber with a frothy cream white head that settles to a light layer and leaves a little nice lacing.
S: Spicy, herbal, resinous, citrus zest, underlying exotic, tropical, and stone fruit, biscuity bready malt, and caramel sweetness.
T: Resinous spicy pine, citrus zest, grapefruit, lemon, and tangerine, exotic, tropical, and stone fruit, pineapple, white grape, apricot, strawberry, gooseberry, mango, guava, and passion fruit, earthy herbal notes, a hint of bubblegum, biscuity bready malt, and caramel sweetness.
M: On the fuller side of medium body, moderate carbonation.
O: I can't remember the last time I had a beer with a big Nelson charge paired with an even stronger resinous presence like you get from the Strata here. The end result is a proper Westy DIPA with some very cool depth and complexity. Was hoping to get to this can sooner, but life happens, and fortunately I think it held up just fine.
