Can poured into a Mountain Rambler Brewery pint glass
A: Pours golden straw yellow with a faint chill haze and frothy cream white head that settles to a firm layer and laces nicely.
S: Southern Hem diesel, slightly dank, grassy, and resinous, bright zesty citrus, floral notes, underlying mix of exotic, tropical, and stone fruit, slightly biscuity crackery malt, and caramel honey sweetness.
T: Opens a bit resinous and grassy with some slightly dank Southern Hem diesel, followed by bright citrus, lemon lime and grapefruit, exotic, tropical, and stone fruit, gooseberry, pineapple, white grape, guava, apricot, and white peach, floral notes, crackery biscuity malt, and a little caramel honey sweetness.
M: Medium body, moderate carbonation, slightly soft and smooth yet crisp.
O: Pretty much exactly what you'd want from an all Nelson NZ style IPA. Packs all the flavors you'd expect while staying wonderfully drinkable. I hope this one comes back in the summer.
