Can poured into a Mountain Rambler Brewery pint glass
A: Pours golden yellow with a frothy cream white head that settles to a firm layer and laces nicely.
S: Citrus zest, resinous pine, slightly spicy grassy notes, underlying tropical and stone fruit, floral hints, and biscuity ever so faintly bready malt.
T: Resinous spicy pine, citrus zest, grapefruit, lemon, and orange, tropical and stone fruit, peach, apricot, passion fruit, mango, pineapple, and blueberry, a bit grassy, floral hints, and biscuity ever so slightly bready malt with a dry finish.
M: Just a touch on the lighter side of medium body, slightly prickly moderate carbonation, crisp.
O: Given the name and artwork I was expecting this one to be a bit more old school; fuller body, a stronger toasty malt profile, something to stick to your bones on a crisp day and get you through your chores. Instead it's actually very pleasantly light and crisp, something to cool you down and keep you going after you break a sweat and rip off your hoodie. I still wish it sat just a bit heavier, but if I had a cooler of this as motivation, my yard would be spotless. Or I'd be out there making leaf angels, not caring about anything other than how many cans I have left.

Clear yellow-amber brew with coarse foam in the Scotch Thistle glass. Aromatic with lemon peel and blueberry, there's also a whiff of onions, for a change. Prickly and a little sharp on the tongue with a lighter body. Tastes are spicy and fruity with the inevitable green melon plus some mix of citrus and even some sweet bread. Overall this is a tangy and flavorful hoppy brew. Quite interesting and drinkable with subdued bitterness. More acidity than some IPAs. From the 16 oz can purchased at San Diego Wine & Beer. Dated 10/30/24.
