Clear amber brew with ample foam in the Trappistes Rochefort chalice. Aroma is dank and piney. Just a slight malty sweetness. Pleasant spritzy and tangy mouthfeel. Taste is resiny with dark leafy, stemmy stuff. BItter aftertaste, and trending toward the usual IPA bitterness. Overall this seems overly hopped for any kind of Lager, In any case, the pleasure is fleeting. From the 16 oz can purchased at O'Shea Brewing. Plenty fresh, dated 01/16/25.
