We carefully selected a blend of Mosaic, Citra, Simcoe, and CTZ hops to showcase intense hoppy deliciousness over a lean malt canvas. Bright tropical fruits paired with dank cannabis notes shine through on the palate for a most excellent sensory experience.

Can poured into a Mountain Rambler Brewery pint glass

A: Pours faintly hazy golden yellow with a frothy cream white head that settles to a firm layer and laces very nicely.

S: Faintly dank herbal notes, resinous pine, peppery spice, citrus, blueberry, underlying tropical and stone fruit, biscuity bready malt, and a touch of caramel sweetness.

T: Opens with a quick hit of resinous pine, peppery spice, and faintly dank herbal notes, followed by citrus, grapefruit, lemon, lime, and tangerine, underlying tropical and stone fruit, mango, apricot, peach, blueberry, passion fruit, and hints of guava and lychee, biscuity bready malt, and a touch of caramel sweetness.

M: Medium body, mild to moderate carbonation, super smooth.

O: It's becoming rare to see a brewery call a beer just (Insert Brewery Name Here) IPA. No clever references or puns, just, __ IPA. This one is definitely worthy of the unofficial flagship style nomenclature. It may be bitter and dank up front, but after that opening hit it's remarkably smooth and easy drinking. At times I thought I wouldn't mind just a bit more carbonation to crisp it up a touch, but it's hard to argue with such an easy supper. Flavor wise it's not in the business of breaking new ground, but it doesn't need to. It's a very well executed and refined modern West Coast IPA. Any brewery would be proud to lend their name to a beer like this.
