Can poured into a Mountain Rambler Brewery pint glass
A: Pours hazy golden yellow with a frothy eggshell white head that settles to a firm layer and laces nicely.
S: Ripe exotic, tropical, stone fruit, and citrus, resinous pine, slightly dank herbal notes, a bit floral, biscuity malt, and caramel sweetness.
T: A mix of ripe exotic, tropical, and stone fruit, gooseberry, strawberry, peach, mango, pineapple, apricot, white grape, and a hint of melon, lively citrus, tangerine, grapefruit, lime, and lemon, floral notes, resinous pine, slightly dank underlying herbal notes, biscuity malt, and caramel sweetness.
M: Medium body, moderate carbonation, soft on the palate, with just a touch of hop burn.
O: Pretty dang smooth for its size. Packs a strong fruity side that comes off a touch sweeter than I was expecting, but it also brings some nice bitterness to help counter it. I wouldn't turn down another pint, but if given the choice, I'd probably reach for the Westy collab between these two instead.
