Can poured into a Mountain Rambler Brewery pint glass
A: Pours hazy eggshell white head that settles to a light layer and leaves a little nice lacing.
S: Ripe juicy mix of citrus, tropical, and stone fruit plus a hint of melon, big time floral notes, a bit grassy and resinous, slightly toasty biscuity bready malt, and caramel honey sweetness.
T: Juicy mix of citrus, tropical, and stone fruit, orange/tangerine, peach, lychee, grapefruit, lemon, passion fruit, mango, apricot, and a hint of melon, super floral, very much like orange blossoms plus maybe a hint of lilac, grassy resinous notes, lightly toasted biscuity malt, and caramel honey sweetness.
M: Medium body, mild to moderate carbonation, soft on the palate.
O: Something about the flavors and aromas erupting out of this one this one is taking me back like 10 years to my favorite (sadly no longer there) pub; just like walking through the door and catching a whiff of hoppy goodness before taking that first glorious sip from my pint. I can't quite place exactly what beer it reminds me of, but the Citra/Amarillo pairing is has stood the test of time and they got the absolute best out of it. I wouldn't mind just a little more carbonation and either a touch less sweetness or a few more IBUs to help balance it, but as it sits it's still fantastic. They absolutely nailed what they were after.
