As the stories go, when Asclepius - son of Greek god Apollo -, perished, his father cried tears of precious amber which became the Greek river Eridanos. Nearly as precious is our amber ale, brewed to be crisp and drinkable with a perfect balance of malty caramel notes and a subtle bitterness with floral hop flavor.

From the 16 oz bottle in a snifter via the brewery. This solid little amber pours a
medium dark amber with a nice head of white foam that settles to a thick ring,
thin dusty layer, and sports faint lacing. Nose of caramel malts, rich floral hops, lightly
toasted malts, and subtle herbal notes. Flavors surpass the nose with a fine presentation
of lightly toasted malts, caramel, and a hint of rye. Mouth feel is medium, medium
light carbonation, and a balanced lightly bitter finish.

Overall, a more than solid amber done well!

Cheers
