Brewed up with our friends at Hop Butcher for the World, this double IPA is extra juicy and chock full of hops! Monster Coney is loaded up with oats and wheat before getting Citra T90 and Citra Dynaboost in the whirlpool. A big dry hop of Citra and Riwaka boast the tangerine, mango and passion fruit notes before a late addition of Freestyle Kohia Nelson Subzero Hop Kief adds complexity and a top layer of passion fruit and lime.

No date on bottle, into an Ever Grain becher pint.

Pours a lovely dense yellow with a pillow of foam. Very very nice. Aroma is white grape, a little orange juice, and tropical fruit, with a little vegetal spice. Flavor is similar. Heavy on the white grape juice with a little mango and orange juice. It gets some of the Hop Butcher dankness on the back end, but still finishes rather sweet with some smooth vanilla and cereal malt flavors. I get some juicy sweet passionfruit and tangerine as well, just very nice fruit flavors all around. Very very low bitterness as well. Feel is great, pretty thick and dense with no trace of ethanol and while it is sweet, it's not too sticky.

Overall, first Wandering Monsters beer, but this one is great. I can see the Hop Butcher side of the collab, but I enjoyed this one a lot.

Was excited about this because it was a Hop Butcher collab and it was a larger bottle than the what I’m used to from IPAs these days. Pours very hazy, pale orange/yellow. Citrusy, tropical fruit scents. Follows through on the taste, not as tangy, just a bit of piney bitterness on the back end. Lighter to medium bodied, alcohol is hisden, dry finish. Super easy sipper, just very well done.
