weird one, and decent for sure, but one of my least favorite selections from our visit here, which was exceedingly impressive. this is a fruited kettle sour, not overly tart, could still be a pint beer, and professionally done on the souring too, a curious combination of fruit in this one, but i believe it rotates batch to batch, it was strawberry, banana, blackberry, and orange when i was in, which are an odd group to put together, was intrigued by the banana, but its far and away the least impactful of the four, youd have to be looking for it to find it, blackberry is next most subtle, as it often is when combined with a bunch of other fruits, orange is most prominent, its acidity nice with the pucker in the base beer, all very natural to me, strawberry is there too, sweet and jammy, it works but its a lot, even if it isnt overdosed, a little kitchen sinky to me, similar aroma and flavor, some what malt in play, some body to this, hazy soft pink colored beer with wispy lasting white head, better than you usually see in this. other fruit notes come out too, dried apricot in the sweetness, lemon in the tartness, its juicy without being cloying and overall rather well done, but less might be more with this, like i could see just the orange, just the blackberry, even just the banana frankly all being better beers than the combination of all the fruits together. these guys are killing it right now, and while this feels a little bit outside their wheelhouse, its solid and competitive and fun for summer, i love the high carbonation and the quicker finish for something so fruit foraward.
