everything these guys make is so good, really solid base pils here, a little bit of structure to it, golden and shining, and jazzed up with a somewhat reserved but recognizable dose of the good stuff, fully fruity and vinous and herbal and fresh, high marks for balance, really enjoyable pint. somewhat unassuming pour, high radiance, average white head, nice clarity and carbonation. the aroma is still pils, which is important in these, but really is driven by the hops, green melon nearing ripeness, elderflower, kiwi fruit, sauvignon blanc, subtle perfume character to it, low bitterness for sure, fresh as can be, but still grounded by a nice robust pils malt foundation and with some lager yeast in play as well, mellow but there, some oils and dankness it seems, but drinkable too, almost cold pale ale vibes, lemongrass and even tea character, real appealing. the flavor follows, early starting and well integrated hops that really double down on the green melon aspect, white grape too, pear, white peach, and subtle lemony soapiness to me, but quick finishing and well lagered too, like it comes quick and goes fast, still a pils at the center of this, not all hops, and the bitterness is real minimal, on the dry side, vinous late, warms up well, and was a nice companion to a relatively salty and fatty meal. excellent execution as always from helper, i love this brewery, their lager game is so on point, and these hops fit the base lager real nicely. could drink on this one all day long! they should can it if they dont already...
