¡AY CARAMBA!
A refreshing summer beer brewed in the Mexican style. Traditionally served with a lime wedge in the neck of the bottle to keep rattlesnakes at bay.

Copenhagen 16/8 2020. 33 cl bottle from SuperBrugsen, Vesterbro Torv, Aarhus. Skanderborgs usual label design in yellow and dark red. And they drive the stupid pun related to the name of the beer home with the tagline Ay Caramba!.
Pours clear yellow with a medium-sized, bubbly, white head. Settles as flimsy remnants of foam unable to cover the surface of the beer. No lacing.
Aroma is moderately intense with a sweet, malty odor and grainy sourness. Sweet pale malts, white sugar. Chemical odor of glue. Hints of citrus.
Medium strong carbonation. Thin, watery, lively, tingling texture.
Flavor is medium intense with a medium strong sweetness followed by a moderate bitterness. Aftertaste is lightly bitter with a sweet undercurrent. Lingers shortly. Semi-dry finish.
The concept is a bit strange. Why on earth would you try to emulate a Corona beer. But then again they actually succeeded.
