Poured from the bottle into a champagne flute. Very stiff cork when opening, but a good solid pop when doing so. Lot No. August 2017.
Pale cherry red and very kriek like lambic colored body. Soft pink head and small, but being repopulated nicely with ample fine carbonation. Bubbly little top and slightly creamy collar.
Aroma is pretty unique. High amounts of floral and fruit tones and very clean. Mild sensing fruit juice, cherry to raspberry in character. There's a little bit of menthol as well which makes things a little interesting.
Palate comes with some very enjoyable sweetness. Rose like wine sweetness and a wet but also surprisingly light body. Sweet notes of cherry and raspberry like qualities but manages to stay away from bubblegum flavors. Washes a little wet, but with a very fun mouthfeel, giving to tonic bubbles on the aftetaste but also some good amounts of cherry.
A neat take on some bubbly and playing up a fruited lambic / rose sweet angle is kind of fun, not incredible, but very memorable still.
