Copenhagen 14/1 2020. 25 cl bottle from Den Belgiske Ølbutik, Jyllingevej, Vanløse. Simple white label with two blue flowers.
Goes off with a “pop” gushing all over the place. Like a true bottle of champagne. But a bit annoying when the bottle only contains 25 centiliters. Pours murky golden yellow with a lot of sediments from the yeast. Big white head. Settles as thin layer of foam struggeling to cover the surface of the beer. Moderate lacing.
Aroma is intense, quite sweet and with a certain barnyard charm. Sweet malts, manure, yeast, a bit of citrus and light touch of sweet cherries. Vineous touch of white wine.
Strong carbonation. Slightly thick, oily, lively and fizzy texture.
Flavor is pretty light. Fairly sweet. Moderately bitter. Aftertaste is sweetish with a light sourish twist. Lingers for a while. Dry finish.
Very rustic and rural brew with a vineous touch.

Poured from the bottle into a champagne flute. Light nudge of the cork, and an excellent pop right out of the bottle.
Bright and deep brass and shiny colored body, alm ost deep honey coating in appearances. Excellent rising carbonation metting to a smaller soapy one finger head, that can froth up with more pour. Good repopulation as well while drinking.
Real nice floral hop tones, a sugary light sweetness and hints of more honey flavors as well on the nose. Subdued effervescence and crispness sensed on the nose. Kind of reminds me of Deus in a way but with lighter on the sugars.
Palate is a lot of fun. Bubbly crispness. Tangy and popping sweetness. Nice honey and sugared malt but with a good sense of muted caramel crispness that comes in the mid palate. Peppery sensing finish without the heat, amplified with big carbonation but doesn't get into large gaseous qualities. Crisp malt tight bodied, with controlled excellent candi sugar floral qualities.
A very neat brut, delicious take on one.
